8mm spiked piercing hoop details

Spiky and mean, inspired by punkish halo rays. This piercing hoop is made with a 1.2mm (or 16 gauge) wire and has a diameter of around 8mm. Ideal for wearing in your helix or forward helix, or to twist through your tragus. It could even be worn through your daith piercing depending on the size of your ears. The spikes are sharp, and it opens and closes by twisting to reveal the split in the seam.

This piercing hoop was hand-carved in wax and has been moulded to ensure consistency. The hand made nature of this piece means that it’s not perfectly round, but neither are you! Cast into recycled silver, this should only be worn in healed piercings. It’s not suitable for nose or mouth piercings due to silver’s tendency to oxidise in humid environments.
