Shipping to the UK excluding NI
I post all SLAB Jewellery using Royal Mail Recorded delivery to ensure you receive them safe and sound. Sadly, there’s a new EU ruling that affects items shipped to Northern Ireland. Please see the section below about shipping to Europe.

EU Shipping Update November 2024
There’s a new law coming into the EU that affects how businesses can sell items there. Since the UK left the EU following the disastrous Brexit vote, this means that I can no longer ship there. I’m hoping that there will be guidance for small businesses soon so that I can resume shipping. However for the moment I can’t risk the fine for non-compliance. I hope you understand :(
There’s a flat rate of £10 to ship throughout Europe even for multiple items, you can select this option during check out. Unfortunately, since the terrible decision of the UK to leave the EU, there are now import duties that are applicable on all goods that leave the UK. All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. This can vary depending on the country that the goods are sent to. I’m just as sad about this as you are, and I’m aware it might impact your decision to buy.
Shipping Worldwide
There’s a flat rate of £15 to ship to the rest of the world, even for multiple items. There are some pre-set options to choose from during check out, but if you can’t find one that fits, please just get in touch. All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
Returns
If you’re not happy with your SLAB jewellery, please get in touch. I hope that all of my customers are thrilled with their jewellery, so I work hard to make sure it’s up to your standards. If there is a fault I will work to resolve it. Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, I can’t accept returns for earrings. So please be extra sure that they’re the ones for you before hitting that buy button.
I can only accept refund requests if the jewellery is in the same condition it was sent out – including all packaging.
Customised and bespoke orders are not available for refunds. I will of course do my best to make sure you’re happy before it even gets to that stage. Check out my Bespoke page for more about the process of ordering custom pieces.
Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer, and I would recommend sending it recorded to ensure arrival. If sending from outside the UK, any import duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer.
The main thing is to get in touch with me, and we can sort it out.
Check the care guide for information on how to care for your jewellery.
Packaging
All jewellery is packaged in a mix of recycled and FSC certified paper and card. This is popped in an FSC certified postage box, to help keep your treasure protected on its journey to you.
All parts of the packaging have been designed to be as easy to recycle as possible, and to reduce the amount of waste.
